Atherton Collieries AFC came from behind twice to beat Northwich Victoria 3-2 in FA Cup Qualification Round 1. The visitors trailed at half-time, fell behind again early in the second half, and still found a late winner.
Northwich led 1-0 at the break after scoring on 45 minutes. Chinedy Uche equalised for Atherton on 58, but Joe Duckworth put Northwich back in front just a minute later. Atherton drew level again on 85 and Kielen Adams completed the turnaround with the winning goal on 90.
The decisive moment came deep into stoppage time as Adams struck to settle a tight tie. Atherton showed persistence by levelling twice away from home, with the scoreline swinging three times after the interval.
