Lanús and Argentinos Juniors shared a 1-1 draw in the Superliga. Felipe Peña Biafore put the hosts ahead on 70 minutes, but Gastón Verón equalised just four minutes later to earn a point for the visitors.
Peña Biafore scored from Carlos Izquierdoz's assist to give Lanús the lead, and the advantage lasted only until the 74th minute, when Verón finished after Nicolas Oroz laid it on. Gonzalo Perez was booked a minute after the equaliser.
Lanús created more in front of goal, with eight shots on target to Argentinos Juniors' three and an expected-goals total of 1.50 to 0.55. Argentinos Juniors had 61% possession, but it was the Lanús goalkeeper's opposite number who made seven saves to keep his side in it.
