Barracas Central edged Aldosivi 1-0 in a tight Superliga contest, the only goal coming just before half-time. The home side did enough to claim the points despite a scrappy, even contest where both defences largely held firm.
The decisive moment arrived in the 40th minute when Iván Tapia set up Tomás Porra, who finished to put Barracas ahead. Aldosivi pushed for an equaliser after the break but could not find a way through, with their best chances coming from set pieces – they earned eight corners to Barracas' one.
Possession was almost exactly split at 51-49, but Barracas made better use of their openings, registering four shots on target to Aldosivi's one. Both sides missed a big chance apiece, and Barracas goalkeeper made just one save as Aldosivi struggled to test him.
