Las Palmas snatched all three points with a 2-1 win over Albacete Balompié, Sandro Ramírez's 90th-minute goal settling a match that had looked to be petering out into a draw. Albacete had cancelled out Jesé Rodríguez's opener through Victor San Bartolome Prieto five minutes from time, only for Las Palmas to strike back immediately.
Jesé Rodríguez put Las Palmas ahead in the 21st minute, finishing after Taisei Miyashiro's assist. Albacete, who had three players booked in the first half, grew into the game and Victor San Bartolome Prieto levelled in the 85th. Sandro Ramírez's winner in the 90th minute, set up by Elías Romero, decided it.
Las Palmas controlled the ball with 66% possession and completed 509 passes to Albacete's 216, yet shots were level at 12 apiece with four on target for each side. Sandro Ramírez's late intervention was the difference on an afternoon when the margin between the teams was thin.
