Al Riffa opened the scoring inside four minutes and added a second after the interval to beat Al Ittifaq 2-0. A tight result that owed plenty to their early breakthrough and a solid defensive performance.

Al Riffa dominated possession at 62% and won six corners to two, but Al Ittifaq actually had more shots on target, with three to Al Riffa's two. The home side took their chances where it mattered.
