Sayed Hashim Issa gave Al-Ahli Manama the lead with a 27th-minute goal, but Abdulwahab Al-Malood equalised for Al-Muharraq in the 44th minute. There was no further scoring after the break.
Al-Muharraq had more shots on target, five to Al-Ahli Manama's three, and also led 6-2 on corners. Al-Ahli Manama had more of the ball, with 53% possession, but could not find a winner.
