Al-Hidd made it back-to-back wins with a 2-0 victory at East Riffa, scoring in each half to take all three points. The visitors were clinical, turning their limited chances into goals.
The breakthrough came on the stroke of half-time, with Al-Hidd going in at the interval a goal to the good. They doubled their advantage in the 73rd minute, leaving East Riffa with too much to do despite enjoying plenty of the ball.
East Riffa actually had more shots overall – 11 to 6 – and won the corner count 6-3, but Al-Hidd matched them on target with 4 apiece and were more ruthless in front of goal. Possession was almost evenly split at 51% to 49%.
