Amadou Kone opened the scoring in the 26th minute, with Saïd Benrahma providing the assist. Benrahma then doubled the lead in the 36th, assisted by Alexandre Lacazette, and Hugo Moura pulled one back for Al-Fayha in the 75th.
Saïd Benrahma was at the heart of Neom's win, scoring once and setting up the other. Neom had 56% possession and 15 shots, but the expected-goals figures were close at 1.06 to 0.84. Ala'a Al-Hejji was shown a red card in the 62nd minute.
