Al Ahly FC took the points with a 2-0 away win at ZED FC in the Premier League. They edged possession with 52% and finished with 16 shots to ZED's 8, six of those on target.
Achraf Bencharki put Al Ahly ahead in the 21st minute from Marwan Attia's assist, and Taher Mohamed doubled the lead in the 61st. Ali Mahmoud was booked after 24 minutes and Abdallah Bakri after 65, but the away side were comfortable once the second goal went in.
Al Ahly created the game's only two big chances and had 375 accurate passes, while ZED registered no big chances and just three shots on target. Despite that, ZED's expected-goals figure of 0.95 showed they were not entirely blunt in attack.
