Rodina Moscow and Akron Togliatti shared a 3-3 draw in the Premier Liga after a match of repeated comebacks. Artem Maksimenko scored three times for Rodina, but Akron twice recovered from two goals behind, with Kevin Arevalo's 86th-minute strike securing the point.
Maksimenko put Rodina ahead after 12 minutes, with Iker Pozo providing the assist, and doubled the lead in first-half stoppage time. Stefan Lončar replied for Akron in the 51st minute, and Gilson Tavares levelled in the 71st. Maksimenko completed his hat-trick in the 76th minute, but Arevalo struck four minutes from time to make it 3-3.
Akron Togliatti had far more of the ball, holding 64% possession and registering 18 shots to Rodina's seven, while Rodina's goalkeeper made three saves. Despite that control, Akron were left to depend on a late equaliser, with Maksimenko's three goals earning Rodina a share of the spoils despite being outplayed.
