Viking FK came from behind to beat Aalesunds FK 2-1 in Eliteserien. Aalesunds took an early lead, but two goals from Simen Kvia-Egeskog turned the match around, the second arriving in the 90th minute.
Uba Charles put Aalesunds ahead in the fourth minute, with Endre Hjertager Osenbroch providing the assist. Viking kept pushing and finally levelled through Simen Kvia-Egeskog in the 73rd minute, Peter Christiansen supplying the pass. Zlatko Tripić set up Kvia-Egeskog's winner at the death as Viking completed the comeback.
The result reflected the balance of play: Viking had 56% possession, 22 shots to Aalesunds' nine and an expected-goals figure of 2.42 against 0.87. Aalesunds had more fouls, 14 to five, and never created a big chance. The brace from Simen Kvia-Egeskog proved decisive.
